Antioxidant Rich Green Smoothie











Try this antioxidant loaded, free radical fighting super smoothie. Loaded with a rich source of vitamin A (as beta-carotene) and vitamin C, which are important immunity and antioxidant vitamins.  Blueberries rank the highest for antioxidants when it comes to fruit. Then the added mint helps soothe your digestion and stimulates use of our stored fats.

Serves 2


    • 2 cups spinach, fresh
    • 2-3 leaves of mint, fresh
    • 1 cup water, optional
    • 1 cups berries, ripe and rind removed
    • 1 apple
    • 1/2 lime, fresh squeezed



Blend spinach, mint leaf and melon until smooth. Then add the remaining fruits and blend again.

    Firstly thankyou for your web site, Just love that you cover so much, exercise, food, attitude etc.
    I just bought a Nutribullet and it says to add liquids to the mix of fruits & vege. I was thinking just water would be bland? do you have any suggestion’s for the types of liquids I should use. I just made one with coconut water and it was really nice, but would like some other ideas? weight lose and better nutrient intake is my goal.
