SOVEREIGN TRI SERIES CEO CHALLENGE
Calling all leaders of business. It is time to inspire those around you, your workforce and your management teams by taking part in the Sovereign Tri Series CEO Challenge
As a busy CEO if you lead from the front and make time to train you’ll be inspiring your staff to do that same. By getting your staff to participate you’ll be

Introducing a fun element into the workplace with a common goal. Even those that don’t participate can be the cheer team
Helping to generate positive media/PR/social media around and about your team and your brand
We won’t be leaving you to do it alone, there will be lots of support along the way for you and the staff. It’s all outlined below. Now if you’re worrying about the “how far” and “I’m not a good swimmer/biker/runner – then don’t worry as the distances are short and if you not confident or able to do one of the elements you can enter the teams race where you share the disciplines.
There are six Sovereign Tri Series events around the country so if you have staff in branches they can participate too. There are various distances to suit all abilities, we just need you to get your staff and colleagues together to take part in this exciting Company Challenge.
For clarity a CEO means CEO, GM, Senior Business Leader or the like.
WIN $25,000 FOR THE CHARITY OF YOUR CHOOSING
Sovereign CEO Symon Brewis-Weston has taken on the challenge and he is encouraging other CEOs around the country to do the same. Sovereign is offering $25,000 to the CEO’s charity of choice, to the company who encourages the highest percentage of staff participation. Companies are only eligible if the CEO or business leader enters too. You can enter any race, in any event in order to be eligible. Symon will be participating in the Takapuna event on Friday 13 February 2015. Here is Symon’s video message and challenge to other CEOs.
WHAT DO YOU GET UPON ENTERING THE CEO CHALLENGE?
An introductory session at your company, with Andrew Dewhurst, a Tri NZ Certified Coach & other inspirational athletes from Age Group Representatives – 18 – 69 years who can help to inspire and motivate the staff to enter and get behind their CEO & the prize of winning $25k for their charity of choice.
Access to Tri NZ accredited Coaches at reduced rates and mentoring support for you & your staff on the journey. You won’t be alone!
Access to discounted equipment, clothing and nutritional supplements if staff need some updating
Communication pieces with tips, inspirational stories and motivation to make it to the start line
Great exposure for your company through online and social media to and beyond the triathlon community
WHAT ARE YOU AGREEING TO BY ACCEPTING THE CHALLENGE
You will participate yourself in The Fun Triathlon Distance as an individual or part of a team at any of the 6 events.
Internal communications to the staff to get them engaged in participating
Allowing the Tri NZ team to come into your company and run an introductory session to the staff to help motivate them
If approved by you, the ability to film you for social media posts or be available for media interviews at a time convenient to you
Challenge other CEO’s and/or business leaders you know to do the same
