DSC_0013This is my afternoon pick me up drink. When you have tired adrenals your body needs vitamin C and high quality sodium. Both of these things are essential for adrenal health, so when you feel tired and flat in the afternoon what your body needs is fuel to help boost energy. To often we reach for caffeine or sugar, instead try this, this is actual fuel your adrenals need and your body wants.

Along with this I also place in some L Glutamine, this not only helps rebuild and heal the gut, it also helps stop cravings. Great to take in between meals. I drink a water bottle of this energy boosting drink 2 times per day, if I ever miss it I really notice my energy drop and my brain function slow down. Then if its a super hot day I make it a bit special like the one above with some sparkling water, honey and ice.


  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon L Glutamine
  • 1/8 teaspoon himalayin rock salt
  • 1 litre of water
  • Optional – Honey


  1. Place all ingredients into a water bottle and shake up. Great to have first thing in the morning and then sip on throughout the afternoon.
