Are you looking for an alternative to the store bought body washes? Have you been wanting to know how you can make something at home that is great for your body inside and out?

You certainly don’t have to go and make this, there are great products out there, so shop around. The key ingredient is liquid castile soap. This is a pure soap and will ensure your body wash has enough foaming suds, without the addition of any chemical foaming agents. You can get scented castile soap, the one in this picture is almond and vanilla scented. So if you want to save time this is the best option.

If you want to go down the homemade route, there are a few yummy ingredients you will want to add to your homemade DIY bodywash.

Raw unfiltered honey. Honey has amazing healing benefits, and helps skin retain moisture and elasticity without drying it out.

Nourishing Oils

These are to add in some extra moisturizing to the body wash. You want the oil to be one that is great for the skin and easily absorbed. I like to use jojoba and apricot oil

Vitamin E oil

Vitamin E is and antioxidant and it will make your body wash last a little longer on the shelf. It also provides repair and moisture to the skin.
