20 Sep Is There A Shortcut To Success?
If only there was a shortcut, a magic ticket you could purchase that can make you rich, or a magic lotion, pill or potion that could make you lean! I’m sorry to disappoint you, but anything that advertises itself as this, or tells you results in a week it lies!
Here is the truth. There is no super food or exercise that will change your body. There is no shortcut to 6 pack abs and there is no magic pill that will create real health.
The wellness industry is a multibillion dollar industry. Companies make huge money on creating so called quick fixes because people buy into it. Everyone is looking for that magic shortcut to success. The truth is there is no such thing. There may be companies out there claiming they have it and yes they will take your money and you will be left right back where you started.
In order to change your body you need to first get the correct information. There is so much confusing information out there and it does my head in!! So called “healthy magazines” creating “healthy recipes” yet they are packed full of processed food and sugar. Then in that same “healthy magazine” you see adverts for drugs, detoxes, quick fixes and everything else. It is scary to think that so many people follow this information and just jump from one diet to the next losing weight here and there but never achieving real health and long term weight loss. It makes me sad.
How Bad Do You Want It?
If you want to be successful at anything in life, you have to be accountable to YOU. You have to take charge of your health. Stop comparing to others and assuming others have it in easy ways or others have found some magic tricks. We are all unique and you have to find YOUR real health. Indeed, others may have better genetics, history, jobs, or more money and time but what is the point in comparing to others, when it is YOU that YOU want to change. You have to take charge of YOUR body and find what works for you. No overnight quick fix is going to help you find success.
I see business and fitness as a very similar philosophy.
Dedication + Commitment + Time = Success.
Step by step, day by day, being dedicated to the same thing is what will get you results. If you were to start a new business every time you opened up a magazine or heard of a friend doing a new business and you decided to give it ago but hen next month you will try a new one, you would never get anywhere. Treat your health and wellness the same. First you start off with a plan. You start to put that plan into action, one day at a time. Then over time you build upon that plan. You add in new elements and regimes. Before you know it, you already have a strong business happening which came about over time! Commitment over time!!!
The same thing applies to fitness and nutrition.
I want you to ask yourself these questions.
- Are you READY to change?
- Are you READY to do the work?
- Are you READY to be accountable?
- Are you READY to make a success of yourself?
- So now that you are ready, here is what you need to do.
- Decide what you want and be willing to commit to it, through good and bad times until you reach your goal.
- Commit to the process and the journey, the results will come.
- Do the hard work, be committed and dedicated. Be consistent in your efforts over time.
