21 May Lemon Zest Sauteed Broccoli
Its incredible how simple flavours can completely transform a dish. This broccoli was panfried in ghee with locally grown lemons. I simply tossed them through near the end to give it an amazing aroma. It gave this dish a really fresh flavour and worked perfectly along side some roast salmon for dinner.
- Broccoli Florets
- Salt and pepper
- Heat butter/ghee in a pan
- Split broccoli heads into floret, then toss into pan, stir and cover for 1-2 minutes
- Slice lemons while you wait, then place them in, stir to heat through the lemons. Keep stirring until broccoli is just cooked through. Then serve. Season with salt and pepper.
