Grapefruit is reknowned for helping the liver, and gelatin is incredibly healing for the digestive system. Both of these ingredients combined make this a super nourishing treat to have in the fridge.
- 1 tablespoon Gelatin
- Juice of grapefruit
- 1 Cup Boiling water
- Honey (optional if you want it sweet)
- In a bowl place the gelatin and pour water over top, mix until dissoved and add in juice and honey if you wish.
- Place in the fridge over night.
I like my jelly really stiff, so I often do more than the recommended amount, in most cases they say 1 tablespoon to 400 mls, so this is slightly stronger. You decide how thick you want the jelly.
