Health Tonic – Antiviral, Antibacterial, Antifungal

This tonic has amazing health benefits, loaded with hugely beneficial ingredients to naturally support the body and aid in detoxification. This health tonic is a very traditional recipe and is used often for a number of different infections including helping to fix the common cold!


1 full bulb of garlic with all the cloves peeled 1 large white onion 2 inches of ginger root 2 inches of horseradish root 2  jalapeno peppers Organic raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar

It’s naturally antiviral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-parasitic. The reason the health tonic is so powerful is because all of the ingredients are fresh, and are designed to stimulate blood circulation to help introduce the detoxifying ingredients into your bloodstream.

The Ingredients

Garlic is a broad-spectrum antibiotic. Giving it the ability to destroys gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Conventional antibiotics kill the good bacteria your body needs, whereas garlic only kills the bad bacteria, while also helping to increase your healthy bacteria. Garlic is also a powerful anti-viral and anti-fungal.

Onions are antibiotic and have anti-inflammatory properties.

Horseradish is naturally antibacterial and anti-parasitic, and it stimulates your immune system.

Ginger is also naturally antimicrobial and boosts your immune system. It can help with chills, colds and fever and prevent colds and flus catching on and getting worse

Jalapeno peppers can also help boost your immune system and are a natural pain-reliever.

Organic raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar is a natural antiseptic and antifungal, great for digestion, detoxifying and so much more.


  1. Prepare all of your ingredients, and place them into a blender or food processor along with vinegar.
  2. Blitz up so it is all well combined and into small little pieces.
  3. Place into jars, and store in a dark place like the pantry for 2 weeks or longer.

Traditionally they would then strain the juice through a cheese cloth and leave in little bottles to use as a tonic. I  simply took a teaspoon or two each day and have added it to my broths, stirfries dinners and what ever else. Its an instant hit of flavour and intensity, plus amazing nutritional benefits. You can store in fridge or pantry.

Other uses for this traditional tonic

You can take this tonic as a shot, if you have strained it, however this is not for the faint hearted! For a daily immune boost take a shot a day, if you are fighting a cold or flu take 4-5 shots a day. I have been having this as part of my fungal cleanse I am doing. More on this later!
