Pizza Base – Gluten Free, Grain Free

This base is packed full of protein with very little flour. Great for sensitive tummies and those wanting to avoid grains and gluten and wanting more protien. It holds together really well so you can top it up with what ever creative toppings you have on hand.


6 Eggs 1/2 cup coconut flour 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil 1/4 cup coconut cream 1/2 teaspoon baking soda Optional extras –  Chopped garlic and rosemary
Cooking Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F/ 180 C
In a bowl add eggs, melted coconut oil and cream. Whisk until smooth.
Sift in baking soda and coconut flour, whisk to combine and so there are no lumps.
Add any herbs or garlic if you wish.
Line a pizza dish with baking paper and then pour mix onto dish. Its quite runny, so using the back of a spoon push mixture around until evening spread over dish.
Place in oven for 5-10, or until cooked. Don’t over cook as it needs to go back in oven.

To create pizza
Load up with all your favourite toppings. This pizza I made I had mashed beetroot with had a little garlic in it. Then sliced tomatoes, onions, avocado, capers and some left over salmon. Delish!!
