Homemade Bounty Bar – Gluten Free
I think my favourite bar of all time would have to be a bounty bar, this is an all natural real whole food version of an all time favourite. Not something you would have everyday, but the perfect indulgent treat that is loaded with only real food. Naturally sweetened with honey and the healthy fats from the coconut and the cashews make this a really satisfying treat that isn’t going to blow out your blood sugar levels. Naturally gluten free, grain free and refined sugar free.
INGREDIENTS
BaseĀ 1/2 cup raw cashews 2 cups shredded coconut 1 tablespoons honey 1/2 teaspoon natural vanilla extract ChocolateĀ 3 tablespoons coconut oil 4 tablespoons cacao 2 tablespoons coconut cream 1 tablespoons honeyInstructions
Using a loaf tin, line with baking paper.
Place ingredients into a food processor and blitz up until smooth.
Place into the loaf tin and press down evenly and firmly.
Instructions for chocolateĀ
Place oil into a pot and allow it to melt, remove from heat and add in other ingredients.
Stir to combine.
Pour chocolate over the base mix and place into freezer. Once set, slice and enjoy.
