Quinoa Breakfast Bowl
How much variety do you get into your body? To often we eat the same foods all day everyday, and it has not colour or variety to it. You should be aiming to get around 20 different sorts of foods into your day, to add colour and texture. This way you are getting not only variety and new flavours, but also more nutrients and vitamins. This quinoa breakfast bowl is colourful and loaded with incredible nutrients. A stunning bowl to bring a smile to your morning.
INGREDIENTSCooked coloured quinoa Soaked Almonds Pumpkin seeds Sunflower seeds Flaxseeds Coconut yogurt/nut milk
I simply soak my nuts and seed the night before and leave the quinoa soaking in a pot also. This enhances your bodies ability to absorb all the nutrients from the food. Store any left over quinoa in the fridge and you have got a nice protein filled breakfast sorted for a few days or add to your lunch and dinner.
I had some coconut yogurt made up, so this went perfectly with this dish. You could of course use any nut milk.
Place all in a bowl and enjoy!
